Eastwood Comprehensive Students Jack Carnill, Luke Burton, Megan Knight and Kathryn Neville  received the Football Association Charter Mark Award on behalf of the school from Tony Adams (ex Arsenal captain and England Centre back) on Tuesday 24th April at Southglade Leisure Centre.

Almost 200 girls in Key Stage 3 had dedicated football coaching sessions in the spring sunshine at Eastwood comprehensive on 19th April.
Coaches from Notts County football in the community put the girls through their paces with a view to recruiting more girls into the Tuesday night coaching sessions.

Greasley Beauvale Year 3 tennis teams have had a terrific run in the mini tennis red competition.
After both boys and girls teams had won the Kimberley and Eastwood heat they took on the winners of the Stapleford and Bramcote heat for a place in the Youth games finals.
The girls finished second but the boys team won to take them to the final.
In the finals they won all three matches in their pool to reach the play-off final against South Wilford.
In a great contest played with skill and good sportsmanship Greasley were jusy pipped and had to settle for runners up spot in Nottinghamshire.
