Parents from Albany Infants and Stevenson Juniors attended training ran by Bramcote Park's SSCo on how to run an after school Active Club at their child's school.  Active Clubs are aimed at increasing pupil's heart rates through fun and energetic activities.  These schools are very fortunate to have volunteer parents increasing school sports clubs on offer to their pupils.  If you are interested in running your own Active club at your child's school contact the school PE coordinator.

Well done to all Year 2 pupils from Frederick Harrison Infant School who attended the Winter Cricket Festival at Bramcote Park.  Pupils rotated around 6 SAQ cricket stations and then finished the festival with a big game of cricket.  Everyone enjoyed themselves!

Liz Roberts announces first race

Rowing first at Eastwood. The first ever indoor rowing competition was held at Eastwood Comprehensive on Monday 19th march at 3.30pm.
Schools competing were Kimberley, George Spencer, Eastwood, Chilwell and Bramcote Hills.
The overall winners were George Spencer School with Kimberley a close second.

Congratulations to all pupils from Bispham Drive, Chetwynd Road and Fairfield who attended the table tennis training and festival at George Spencer. 24 Pupils came to George Spencer for coaching for 8 weeks before ending with closely contested competition won by Fairfield Primary.
